The LifeSaver Jerrycan 10000UF is a microbiological water filter that uses ultra filtration technology to filter out viruses, bacteria, cysts and parasites from contaminated water sources. LifeSaver technology filters out bacteria to a minimum of Log 6 (99.9999%), viruses to a minimum of Log 4 (99.99%) and cysts to a minimum of Log 3 (99.9%) as specified by NSF Protocol 231, based on recommendations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
NSF/ANSI standard microbial removal claims are 99.9999% or greater for bacteria, 99.99% or greater for virus, and 99.9% or greater for parasite cysts.
Ensure you can keep using your LIFESAVER jerrycan with a replacement 10000UF cartridge. The LIFESAVER 10000UF replacement cartridge will produce another 10,000 litres of clean, safe drinking water.
When you have reached the filtration limit of your existing cartridge, the jerrycan will stop working. This is called FAILSAFE technology and will ensure you never drink contaminated water. Your cartridge will need replacing with a new one. Assemble and fit in minutes, the LIFESAVER 10000UF cartridge ensures you can continue filtering water.

LifeSaver Systems LTD complies with all British, US and European drinking water regulations for microbiological reduction as tested and certified by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
As the LifeSaver cartridge approaches the end of its life the bottle requires a greater number of pumps to induce water to flow. When the bottle requires a significant number of pumps to induce water to flow this indicates that it is nearing the end of its life. When no more water can be induced to flow despite continuous pumping, the cartridge has expired and it is time to replace it.

For all our UK and Ireland customers we use UKMail to deliver your order as fast as possible. Or record delivery time is 3 hours, however, most orders will be next day, but it can take up to 72 hours to deliver. If you're not in they will leave a card for you to contact them and arrange to collect or have delivered at better date.
If you know your not going to be in you can always ask us to deliver to a friend or families home or even your work. Just enter the desired delivery address into the shipping section of the checkout. You can also request to have your order delivered in plain unbranded packaging by requesting this in the comments section of the checkout.

Dates stated for delivery are approximate only and Emergency food storage shall not be liable for any delays in delivery howsoever caused.
We offer Next Day on orders made before the following cut off times subject to stock availability. (Please note certain items are not eligible for next day as these are shipped direct from manufacturers and is out of our control) These are clearly marked on the product descriptions.
Orders that require next day need to be placed before these cut off times.
All orders received after 3.00pm on Thursday through to Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday.
Prices for delivery are subject to change without prior notice by Emergency food storage.
We reserve the right to contact the customer prior to despatch of goods to inform of a change in cost of delivery.
Please Note, we are closed for bank holidays and any orders placed on the bank holiday will be delayed by one day.
A valid signature will be required on collection or delivery.
Please check the box for signs of damage before signing. Please refuse any goods that have been damaged so UKmail can have them returned and inspected. If you have refused to take delivery on this basis please contact us on the number below to inform us of the problem.
In the unlikely event that you have not received all the goods within the estimated delivery time, please notify us immediately.
We reserve the right to charge our standard carriage rate of £9.99 on all orders that are returned to sender and require re-delivery unless evidence is provided that UKmail have neglected to deliver the goods within the chosen delivery timeframe.
