'Deluxe' is the standard supply plus additional extras which can include breakfasts and desserts and other items making for a more complete emergency food solution. 'Family' is our emergency food pack range which caters for more than one individual and usually is based on a family of four, for the duration of the supply.

What Is Freeze Dried Food?

Freeze dried food is very commonly used in every day foods, from the fruit in Cereal to instant coffee.  The freeze dried process is used to lock in the nutrients and goodness of the food but allows it to be stored for long periods of time. When you want to use it you just add water.

Do You Ship Outside The UK?

Yes we will to any country in Europe. However, for anywhere outside UK mainland (including Scottish Highlands) is charged. Rates can be seen in the shopping cart before you buy.

How Long Does The Emergency Food Last For?

Mountain house products last up to 25 years (but have been tested up to 42 years and have been fine) as long as the food is stored in the correct temperature conditions.

How Long Will The Emergency Food Take To Be Delivered?

Depending on stock levels we try to get your orders out to you within 48 hours (UK mainland), although it can take up to 6 weeks if they are out of stock and the food has to be recooked. We will send you update emails on the process of your order throughout this time.

Why Is Mountain House No Longer Available?

Unfortunately, Mountain House is no longer being produced in Europe as they pulled out in 2017. However, our new Fuel Your Preparation Emergency Foods range is created using similar ingredients and the exact same machines. At a slightly lower price point, we think it's a better product for you all round.

How Will My Order Be Delivered?

Your order will often be delivered via courier and will have to be signed for. Please inspect the boxes before signing as once the box is signed for the delivery company will not accept responsibility for any damaged stock. We inspect all stock before it leaves us. Tins can become dented in transit, however, this will not affect the food or the life of the product as long as the tin has not been punctured.

Do You Do Bespoke Orders?

If you would like a bespoke pack, please call us on the number at the top right of the screen or email us and we will be happy to help. Prices may be different.

Please read our terms and conditions that are available on our website. All other prodcuts are covered by a 7 day money back policy. If you need a refund please contact us and we will advise you further.
