BREXIT and the ongoing political challenges between the EU and the UK have drastically restricted all shipments of food from the UK to the EU. While we are doing our best to find a solution and get all our products moving across Europe, a heated political environment and constantly changing rules are making this impossible for a lot of our products. Please know that we are working around the clock to find a solution moving forward. To date, the current situation is as follows:
1. WE CANNOT ship any products containing meat or dairy into the EU at this time due to EU regulations. We strongly advise you to contact your local MEP to complain about the absurd restrictions from the UK.
2. WE CAN ship any food products that are not meat-based or dairy-based, so vegetarian and vegan meals along with water filtration and equipment.
3. VAT MAY BE ADDED IN SOME INSTANCES depending upon your country and you’ll be required to pay the customs bill before the item can be delivered. This is not a charge from Emergency Food Storage. DHL will contact you by email with the invoice. We cannot advise whether this will be the case for your country as the countries do not make it clear to us, and we have had mixed messages and results.
